A Venezia base, then the skim
Canaposo goes on as a skim over a Bio Beton 500 Venezia base, with a Stabilitura Naturale Traspirante Plus (SNT Plus) junction band and mesh. There is no lime base and no mesh across the wall.

Colour
Like Venezia, Canaposo is toned in the putty. Neutro, its natural calcium carbonate, and Cocciopesto, crushed terracotta, are Senini’s standards, and coloured earths are mixed to your choice.

A hygroscopic finish: it takes up moisture when a room is humid and gives it back as the air dries, evening out the swings.
Questions
How is Canaposo different from Venezia?
Both are Senini hemp lime finishes. Venezia carries hemp shiv you can see; Canaposo uses fine hemp powder in an 18-month aged putty, for a smoother, softly speckled wall.
Can you see the hemp?
Only as a soft speckle. The hemp in Canaposo is a powder under 1 mm, so it colours the surface rather than standing out of it. For visible hemp shiv, look at Venezia.
Can it go on an external wall?
No. Canaposo is an internal finish. Lime Plaster is our only external system.
What colours does it come in?
Senini's two standards, Neutro and Cocciopesto, plus coloured earths mixed to your choice. There is no fixed colour card, so ask us for a real sample first.
